Programme
Objectives |
Today, more than ever, business success requires intercultural awareness and effective intercultural communication skills, because the modern workforce is made up of employees of many nationalities and cultures. To deal with all these different cultures is challenging, inspiring and enriches our perspectives and day to day life
Working, meeting, dealing, entertaining, negotiating and corresponding with colleagues or clients from different cultures can be a minefield. One wrong movement or basic misunderstanding could ruin or delay months of work.
Understanding and appreciating intercultural differences ultimately promotes clearer communication, breaks down barriers, builds trust, strengthens relationships, opens horizons and yields tangible results in terms of business success.
This course will develop the skills necessary to build and maintain positive communication and relationships across cultures. Participants will focus on similarities and differences in communication behaviors. Perceptions, use of language, nonverbal communication, attitudes and values all will be explored to see how they influence communication between individuals of different cultures. |
